British Standards Institution issue Draft for Public Comment

British Standards Institution (BSI) has issued draft BS 8418 “Installation and remote monitoring of detector-activated CCTV systems” as a Draft for Public Comment (BSI Ref: DPC: 14/30293253 DC).  This draft is intended to supersede the current (2010) edition of BS 8418, subject to a review of any public comments.

You can purchase copies of the DPC for £20 plus postage and packing from BSI Tel: 0845 086 9001 or email cservices@bsigroup.com or BSI Shop http://shop.bsigroup.com.

However the DPC is available for review and comment online via the BSI British Standards Draft Review System (DRS) at http://drafts.bsigroup.com.  Registration to use the DRS is free and this allows you to submit comments on the DPC if you wish to do so.

Please note the latest date for BSI to receive comments is 31 July 2014.
