Overview

Accredited for the Security Institute’s CPD scheme, this course explains the principles of design, installation and maintenance of intruder and hold-up alarms to ensure they generate confirmed alarms.

Why attend?

Understanding the requirements of the PD 6662:2017 (including BS 8243) and the recommendations in EN 50131-1 is vital for installers wishing to achieve the standards required to generate confirmed alarms. In order to become NSI approved and maintain approval, companies will be assessed against these requirements.   

This course counts as six structured CPD hours for Security Institute members.

A course booklet and supporting documentation will be given to each delegate, along with a certificate of attendance.
