Overview
Accredited for the Security Institute’s CPD scheme, this course explains the principles of user requirements for access control systems and applying those to system design and operational criteria.
Why attend?
Understanding the requirements of the NSI Code of Practice NCP 109 (referencing the Equality Act 2010, British Standard BS 7273-4 for fire protection, and BS 7671 for electrical installations) is vital for installers wishing to maintain the highest standard of design, installation and maintenance of Access Control installations. In order to become NSI approved and maintain approval, companies will be assessed against these requirements.
This course counts as two and a half structured CPD hours for Security Institute members.
A course booklet and supporting documentation will be given to each delegate along with a certificate of attendance.
