NSI’s premier cash services scheme is designed for companies who meet the industry’s highest technical standards and maintain a commitment to continual improvement with an ISO 9001 Quality Management System
Cash Services Silver
NSI's Cash Services Silver scheme is designed as a stepping stone towards Cash Services Gold.
It requires companies to meet the same high level of technical competence as the Cash Services Gold scheme
Our scheme covers a wide range of areas
within the Security Guarding, Cash and Specialist Services sectors and involves compliance with British and NSI Codes of Practice. The cash services are detailed below:
BS EN ISO 9001 Quality Management System Requirements
ISO 9001 is the most well recognised and adopted management system worldwide, it is a cornerstone of NSI Gold approval. (NSI Gold approval only).

Approval by NSI requires inspection to recognised British standards/Codes of Practice. Before an inspection for approval can take place, companies should ensure they have a copy of the appropriate Standard.
Relevant British Standards and International Standards are available to NSI approved companies and applicants through our Online Standards Subscription Service or hard copies and electronic copies can be purchased through NSI at a preferential rate.
SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) Passport Route
NSI is able to provide a route to ACS approval through our Passport Scheme. Find out more about SIA ACS approval.
NSI approved companies providing services for Security Guarding, CCTV, Door Supervision, Keyholding, Close Protection, Cash and Valuables in Transit services and Vehicle Immobilisation (N.I.) may choose the Passport option.
Passport Route
If you are interested in gaining both NSI and ACS approval in one integrated audit find out more about our combined Passport Route or contact our Applications Team. The Passport Route is open to existing and applicant companies.
Passport offers qualifying companies the additional option to gain ACS approval by meeting NSI Passport specification requirements. They then avoid the cost of separate assessments.
