Overview
Accredited for the Security Institute's CPD scheme, this CCTV training course explains the principles of user requirements for CCTV systems and applying those to system design and operational criteria.

Understanding the requirements of the NSI Code of Practice NCP 104 (based on the British Standards BS EN 62676-4:2015) is vital for installers wishing to maintain the highest standards of design, installation and maintenance of CCTV installations. In order to become NSI Approved and maintain approval, companies will be assessed against these requirements.
This course counts for three structured CPD hours for Security Institute members
A course booklet and supporting documentation will be given to each delegate along with a certificate of attendance.

The course covers the following aspects:
Learning outcomes
- Be confident with the compliance requirements of BS EN 62676-4:2015 for video surveillance systems (CCTV).
- Understand how a video surveillance system (CCTV) solution is designed, assessing and agreeing the user’s security and operational requirements.
- Work to the highest standards for testing and commissioning, and developing a maintenance plan for video surveillance systems (CCTV).
- Comply with the requirements of NCP 104 for contracts for preventive and corrective maintenance.
