NSI holds Scaffolding Alarm Systems Q&A session
NSI’s NACOSS Gold/Systems Silver extension of scope; Scaffolding Alarm Systems scheme is still gaining interest; particularly from insurers who are starting to specify NSI Code of Practice NCP115. NSI have therefore decided to hold its first interactive Question and Answer session via Twitter: The session will be held on 26th June at 1PM and is aimed at giving an insight to our Scaffolding Alarm Systems scheme.
The Scaffold alarms sector has previously been without any form of voluntary regulation or industry-specific standards prior to the introduction of the new NSI Code of Practice leaving the way open for poor standards of workmanship and malpractice. The NSI Code of Practice NCP 115 provides the scaffolding alarms sector with an industry benchmark to which it can operate.
Regardless of whether a building is domestic or commercial, vacant or occupied, NCP 115 provides the consumer with the reassurance the security of their property, and the assets within, are given due and appropriate consideration during periods of renovation, maintenance and repair.
Our Question and Answer session will give you a great opportunity to learn more about the valuable Scaffolding Alarm Systems scheme, with questions being answered by our External Affairs Director, Chris Pinder and Campaign Sales Executive, Sean Mullin.
If you are interested in participating please tweet your questions, before 26th June, to @NSI_Approved or send an email to Sean.Mullin@NSI.org.uk
We are also considering holding a coffee morning to discuss the scheme in further detail: In particular the technicalities of NCP115. Please contact Sean directly to register your interest and to receive further details.
We look forward to receiving your emails and tweets!
