NSI at the Security Excellence Awards 2012
Now in its 14th year, the Security Excellence Awards provides a platform for the security profession to join forces to honour the achievements of those operating in the security management, intallation/integration, consultancy and manufacturing sub-sectors, to name a few.
Brian Sims, Chairman of this year’s judging panel commented: “We’re delighted to be able to recognise their efforts in what is undoubtedly the security profession’s premier awards scheme and one which increases in both popularity and scope with each passing year.”
The NSI ‘Contribution to Standards’ Award, will be presented to a company or organisation that has demonstrated a commitment to the implementation, enhancement or furtherance of Standards within the security field. There is strong competition for this category and NSI wishes this year’s finalists the best of luck.
The finalists of NSI’s Contribution to Standards Award are:
- ASIS International UK Chapter 208
- CVIT Sector Consultation Group
- Register of Chartered Security Professionals
- Secure by Sodexo
- VSG
- Wilson James
NSI has supported the ‘Engineers of Tomorrow’ competition since is started in 2000. The competition is a great opportunity for apprentice engineers to showcase their skills in front of their industry colleagues. The competition takes place over the four days of IFSEC, challenging apprenctice installers to test their critical assessment, installation skills and knowledge. NSI provides a fantastic second prize of two Red Letter Days, which NSI will present at the Awards ceremony.
Well done to all those that took part in this year’s competition!
We would like to congratulate all NSI approved companies who have been nominated for Awards in the various categories and wish them the very best of luck!
