NSI at IFSEC International 2017
The NSI team will be at IFSEC International in force – along with the much loved and popular NSI owl, ‘Cash’, to welcome visitors, share essential information for the security and fire safety community and launch this year’s Women in Security Awards, in association with Professional Security magazine. NSI are proud to be hosting the Women in Security Awards later in 2017 and mark the significant contributions made in making the UK a safer place.
NSI experts will also be involved in a number of specialist seminars taking place throughout the show.
- Head of Technical Services, Tony Weeks, will be taking part in a panel session on Tuesday 20th June discussing trends in the security industry.
- NSI Auditor, Clare Crump, will be joining forces with Tony Porter, Surveillance Camera Commissioner on the morning of Wednesday 21st June for a session on the Surveillance Camera Code of Practice
- As a leading certification body for fire safety, NSI will also have a presence in FIREX International. NSI’s Operations Manager, Chris Hayes will be at the Firex Expertise and Guidance Theatre on the morning of Thursday 22 June. Chris, will guide the audience through the legal requirements of those responsible for fire safety within buildings and give guidance on choosing a competent fire risk assessor.
The Engineers of Tomorrow competition, supported by NSI over 18 years ago since it started, is being held adjacent to the NSI stand. NSI’s own auditors will be adjudicating the competition over the three days.
