Business Licensing Consultants Seminar 27th February 2014

As a result of numerous requests, NSI will be holding a half day seminar on 27th February dedicated to security consultants. The NSI seminar will be of interest to those consultants who have clients that work in the relevant licensable sectors and will promote an opportunity for consultants to gain a greater understanding the impact Business Licensing is likely to have.

As previously announced, NSI is already holding two complimentary half-day seminars at its headquarters in Maidenhead on 26 February 2014. This is for organisations who are actively involved in licensable activities and aims to provide information to help attendees better understand the SIA’s requirements.

The SIA have previously announced that all businesses providing regulated security services under contract will be required to hold an SIA Business Licence from 6th April 2015 with applications for licenses being accepted from April this year. This proposed legislation is currently awaiting ministerial approval.
