BS 8243:2010+A1 – Draft Amendment released for public comment.

BSI (British Standards Institution) has issued a draft amendment (A1) for public comment (BSI Draft for Public Comment DPC:13/30293255DC).

The draft amendment to BS 8243:2010 proposes changes to the text in sub clauses; 6.3 Methods of completion of setting, 6.2.5 Completion of unsetting using a digital key and 7.5.3 Methods of alarm filtering. Additional minor editorial changes are proposed to correct typographical errors.

The draft British Standard is available for review and comment online via the BSI British Standards Draft Review System (DRS) as http://drafts.bsigroup.com. You will need to register with DRS to submit your comments. Registration is free.

When submitting comments you will be asked to provide both a comment (i.e. justification for a change) and a proposed change.

Deadline for receipt of comments is 28 February 2014
