WorldSkills UK 2024 – Meet the Competition Finalists

 

Excitement is building for next week’s WorldSkills UK Finals, where 16 talented apprentices from across the UK will compete in the Security and Fire competitions hosted by Wigan and Leigh College. With eight participants in each competition, they’ll be battling for the prestigious title of top apprentice in the UK!

The finalists excelled in the National Qualifiers during The Security Event at the NEC in Birmingham in April.  As a founding supporter of this competition (formerly the Engineers of Tomorrow), NSI is thrilled to once again be part of the impartial adjudicating panel, assessing each competitor on their knowledge, problem-solving and technical ability.

The winners will be announced at the prestigious WorldSkills UK National Finals Medal Ceremony on the evening of 22 November at The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester. In addition to the incredible recognition and a valuable CV boost, the top three competitors in each category will win the following cash prizes:

🥇 1st Place: £1,000 (sponsored by CSL)
🥈 2nd Place: £500 (sponsored by NSI)
🥉 3rd Place: £300 (sponsored by SSAIB)
