Winners Announced from WorldSkills UK 2022 for Apprentice Installers of Electronic Security Systems and Fire Detection & Alarm Systems
The apprentice security and fire installer finalists from this year’s Engineers of Tomorrow competition, which took place at IFSEC in May, went on to compete in November’s national finals of WorldSkills UK, the nation’s premier skills, apprenticeships and careers event held at Barking & Dagenham College.
The competition aims to help tackle the growing engineering skills gap and attract and retain the next generation of security and fire systems installers.
The overall winners of the WorldSkills UK security and fire competitions were presented with their prizes at last week’s prestigious Security & Fire Excellence Awards at the London Hilton Park Lane. Many congratulations to this year’s winners:
