Winners Announced for WorldSkills UK Security and Fire Competitions 2024

WorldSkills UK 2024 Awards CeremonyThe winners of the highly anticipated 2024 WorldSkills UK competition for apprentice electronic security and fire detection & alarm installers were unveiled last Friday during a spectacular awards ceremony held at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.

This year’s 16 finalists showcased exceptional skill, expertise and technical proficiency during a challenging two-day competition held on November 20th and 21st at Wigan & Leigh College.

Renowned for its high standards, the competition serves as a platform to celebrate and showcase rising talent in the security and fire sectors.

This year’s winners and runners-up are as follows:

Electronic Security:

1st place – Luke Kendall
Cash Prize: £1000 sponsored by CSL Group
