SIA Guidance for Door Supervisors

As lockdown measures ease, the Security Industry Authority (SIA) has recently published guidance for door supervisors including those who may be returning to work at licensed premises having not worked for a while, and employees new to the role.

Highlighting good practice to help door supervisors protect the public and keep themselves safe, the SIA’s updated guidance focuses on prioritising safer restraint and helping vulnerable members of the public.
