NSI launches new CCTV e-learning course

This much anticipated course has been developed by NSI to complement its classroom equivalent and provides training in the practice of design, installation and maintenance of CCTV systems.  The course content is based on the requirements of NSI Code of Practice NCP 104(2):2010 and encompasses the impact of EN 50132-7.

NCP 104 was developed by NSI to provide a standard for use in CCTV systems in security applications and all NSI approved companies who design, install and maintain such systems are required to follow the Code’s criteria.

Individuals who will benefit from NSI’s CCTV courses (both classroom and e-learning) include CCTV designers and installers.  The e-learning option is a cost effective training solution for those with varying degrees of knowledge and may be used as useful refresher for those who are more experienced.

Tracey Leadbeater, NSI’s Training Development Manager comments “We are committed to widening access to quality training and for CCTV professionals our new e-learning course provides a cost-effective, resource-enabling solution.”

Tracey continues “For those individuals who prefer the e-learning format of training, enabling them to set their own pace of learning from the comfort of their own environment, the NSI e-learning CCTV course is ideal. I am particularly encouraged by the number of individuals who have pre-registered for this course and we anticipate that it will be taken up by many of our approved companies.  Another bonus is that all NSI training courses can count towards an individual’s CPD (Continuing Professional Development) requirement and more information regarding this initiative will be announced shortly”.
