25 November 2015

NSI-Mini-Summit-Scotland-2015-593x272-v1 cslWe held an NSI Installer Mini Summit in West Lothian last week which was heralded a great success by NSI’s security and fire installers who attended.

We were delighted to take our highly-regarded Installer Summit format to Scotland to gather our Scottish NSI approved companies under one roof and take advantage of a dedicated on-site exhibition and conference.  Sponsored by CSL DualCom and RISCO Group, this was the first such event to take place in Scotland and it which was attended by over 60 installers with 13 exhibitors representing manufacturers, distributors, industry bodies and other service and support providers.

The Mini Summit was followed by a NACOSS Gold regional meeting, enabling our   premier electronic security installers to discuss industry issues. The   Scottish regional meeting, is one of the nine regional meetings to take place around the UK for NSI installers, providing them with a dedicated forum to discuss technical and industry issues.

QE5A2182 1Graeme Hazlewood, NSI Business Development Director comments: “We are committed to providing support and educational opportunities for our approved companies and our Mini Summit in Scotland last week was successful on many levels, not least because it provided them with an  opportunity to meet technical experts and their industry colleagues.”

Hazlewood continues “The tremendous feedback we received from installers, speakers and exhibitors from the event clearly shows there is a desire within the NSI community for events such as this.  We are already planning next year’s  third National NSI Installer Summit which will be taking place on 10 March in Birmingham which brings together hundreds of NSI installers, exhibitors and high profile speakers.”

Organisations interested in exhibiting at the NSI Installer Summit in March are advised to contact Nigel Aitkin at NSI for more information.
