IFSEC is inviting NSI security installers to join their newly formed ‘Installer Advisory Board’ and guide the event programme for 2016. Members of the board will be invited to attend private discussion groups, which will take place roughly every three months in London, and members will be promoted as influential ambassadors of the event.
IFSEC have said that through the group discussions they hope to understand the industry a little better and any specific challenges installers may face.

There is no fee for joining the advisory board, installers are simply asked to commit their time. As a member you will benefit from the following perks:

Attendance at meetings
If there are meetings members can’t attend in person, there will be the option to attend through a conference call or video conference facility. If there are meetings members can’t attend at all, they will be encouraged to submit any questions/feedback over the phone or over email with the IFSEC team.
Structure of the meetings
Meetings will be scheduled for dates and times that suit the majority of members and will last 3 hours. Discussions will be kept private and Chatham House rules apply.
The group discussion will be made up of two parts. The first part, which will last for around two hours, will be spent discussing the key issues/challenges/priorities advisory board members are facing. This part of the agenda will be made up entirely of the discussion points that members want to talk about and can focus on any area they would like their peers’ insight into or advice on. For the second part of the agenda, which will last around 1 hour, the IFSEC team will ask for advice on the content, positioning and strategy of the event.
Venue: 240 Blackfriars Road, Southwark, London Meetings will take place in UBM’s smart office, one of the most smart, sustainable buildings in London. (IFSEC is part of UBM). Refreshments will be supplied and members of the advisory board will also be invited for a tour of the facilities.
