We are seeing an increased number of companies advertising themselves as being approved by NSI when in fact they are not. Some are using our branding on their websites, vans, paperwork and social media which may mislead potential customers into believing they are approved by NSI.
Incidents of mis-use of logo and misrepresentation reported to NSI will be diligently followed up by us. Prompt action to remove or rewrite offending information is always requested however, not all companies co-operate as speedily as we would like. We have therefore launched our ‘Wall of Shame’ page on our website to highlight persistent offenders. Not only will it publicise these companies, but it will enable members of the public and others to report these issues to us.
